Airbus Group – known as EADS until January 1, 2014 – is a global leader in aerospace, defence and related services with more than 144,000 employees worldwide. The Group is made up of three Divisions, all leaders in their fields: Airbus, manufacturing highly innovative commercial aircraft, Airbus Defence and Space, providing tanker, combat, transport and mission aircraft as well as space systems, equipment and services, and Airbus Helicopters, which offers the widest range of civil and military helicopters in the world.

Internationality and mobility

Airbus Group and its three Divisions – Airbus, Airbus Defence and Space and Airbus Helicopters – operate in 48 countries and employ more than 144,000 professionals across a vast range of engineering and business disciplines.

As an international and highly diverse company, we actively encourage employee mobility, enabling employees to move jobs within and across departments, functions, sites, Divisions and countries. We believe that mobility both helps employees gain new skills and experience and also enriches us by bringing in new ways of thinking, working and sharing best practices across the Group. Around 10,000 employees changed positions within the Company in 2013, including 710 moves across Divisions.

Work-life balance
