What is eRecruiting@Airbus Group?

Our online eRecruiting tool allows talented individuals to apply for career opportunities across Airbus Group and its three Divisions – Airbus, Airbus Defence and Space and Airbus Helicopters – as well as register in the candidate pool. If you are interested in working within the Airbus Group, please apply online, register in our candidate pool and ‘release’ your profile.

Our online tool is used for recruiting the following target groups: direct entries, experienced candidates, recent graduates, interns and apprentices.

How do I apply?

To be considered for a position within Airbus Group, you must create and complete a personal profile on our eRecruiting tool.

You will be able to find all currently open positions within the Group on our Job Market (Jobs & Application > Apply Online)

If you cannot find any suitable position on our Job Market at the moment, you can also register for one of our typical Airbus Group profiles. You will find more information about those profiles under the following links:

Please complete your profile in as much detail as possible. This may take some time, however once completed and your profile is 'released' (under “Profile status” in your cockpit), our recruitment teams across all sites and Divisions will have access to your skills and experience and will be able to help find the position that you are looking for.

Should you wish to be informed about interesting vacancies matching your profile make sure you set up a ‘Job Agent’ in your Candidate Cockpit.

What are the 'candidate cockpit' and 'profile' and how do I use them?

The Candidate Cockpit offers you access to your candidate profile information and to the application functionalities - History of your Applications and their present status, the Job Agent functionality (to have job opportunities sent to your email address as they go live) and favourite jobs selection. 

The 'candidate profile' is a section of the Candidate Cockpit where the candidate enters his/her personal data, his/her qualifications, work experience and preferences. You can update, release and unlock your profile at any time from the Candidate Cockpit. A 'released' profile status means that your profile appears in the candidate pool and can be viewed by Airbus Group recruiters; a 'locked' profile status means that your information cannot be accessed by Airbus Group recruiters.

In the Candidate Cockpit you can also search for jobs, change your user name and password or delete your profile if you no longer want to be registered in our database.

Can I save a partially completed registration or application and finish later?

Immediately after you have registered in the tool, you will automatically receive your user name and password by e-mail. This will enable you to close the application form at any time or to complete the form at a later date. Any information you have entered will be stored in the system. 

You can always modify and change the details of your registration using your user name and password.

If you do not receive the confirmation message within a few minutes after your registration, please check your Spam e-mail folder just in case the confirmation email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so, select the confirmation message and mark it 'Not Spam', which should allow future messages to get through.

Can I apply to different positions at the same time?

You can apply for different positions, however, to give the best chances to your application we would certainly advise that the application you submit for a position should be relevant to your current skills and experience and to fill your online application in as much detail as possible.

What is Airbus Group recruitment policy regarding diversity?

The right skills and qualifications, more than the nationality of a candidate, are the key to becoming an Airbus Group employee. Please note that we will not take any unsolicited applications into account as our eRecruiting tool is the most efficient way to apply to Airbus Group. 

Does the Group’s rebranding have an impact on the application process?

The way to apply remains unchanged. Please continue to use our application tool as usual. For your ongoing applications, it is not necessary to update your documents (cover letter, etc.) in your candidate cockpit. However, if you are about to apply for a position, please use the new names: Airbus Group, Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Defence and Space.

When using the job search menu, you may notice that some former EADS Divisions are still displayed. EADS, Astrium and Cassidian will continue to appear as such until the new entities (Airbus Group, Airbus Defence and Space) are legally consolidated.

I have applied to an open position, what is the next step?

The average response time for our recruitment process is 35 working days. Please take into consideration that three candidates are selected to pass an interview with our recruiters. If these three candidates are not successful, other candidates will be considered for the position. No matter the answer, you will be informed as soon as we have a decision regarding your application.

How do I know that you have received my data once I have registered in the Airbus Group candidate pool?

As soon as you have registered on our site, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from eRecruiting@Airbus Group.

How will Airbus Group communicate with me?

If your profile is 'released' (an option under “profile status”) we will contact you whenever there is a specific opening that fits your qualifications. Any communication during your application process will be carried out by e-mail or by phone.

If you have created a Job Agent, you will regularly receive by e-mail a list with all the new open positions that match the specific criteria you selected.

Use the “Favourites” functionality to find all your selected favourite positions.

I am unable to load my CV on my cockpit, what should I do?

We would first advise you to check the size of the file. Please note that for each application you can attach 5 different files of 1MB maximum each.

What do I do if I forget my password?

To create a new password go to the Candidate Cockpit Homepage and click on 'Forgot your password?'. After filling in your Username and e-mail address you will receive an e-mail with your new password.
Then you will have the possibility to change and personalize it.
